It sounds as if you are anemic - "weak blood". It can be caused by iron less, but your doctor would have been intelligent enough to rule out that as the end in. If your doctor believed that you have thallasemia he will ask you to get some other blood tests done.
lasemia is a spectrum of genetic diseases characterised by problems next to your "haemoglobin" - the molecule in the blood that carrys oxygen. Because it is caused by genes and not your environment it is possible for you to pass on this disease to your children. If your husband does not hold it, you alone may pass it to your children and they become asymptomatic carriers or, should your husband have thallasemia here is a possibilty that your offspring could have "full blown" thallasemia.
The normal haemaglobin within adults is made of 4 chains of proteins. A defect in genes that go to breed these chains results decreased amount of chains. The haemoglobin will not function well enough and you will show symptoms of "watery blood"
I would have your husband get tested for it before you hold children. two genes for it would definately cause problems in the offspring however it is unlikely you both enjoy it because it is rare unless you are in some way relatebeside yourselfchances are low that he has it also
