...how come everyone is making a huge operation over the swine flu?

i had the swine flu a week ago and it pretty much felt the same as the regular flu... i go to the doctors and they said it was the swine flu and i was on "quarantine" haha it was pretty ridiculous. i have it for about 4 days and it went away. WHATS THE BIG DEAL!?! why is everyone going CRAZY! im 14 and i dont care! and i freeking have it! haha. soo i just want to knowww whats the big deal?

the big deal is that the medium needs a story. you cant have media if theres no word. good way to make report is to exploit health related issues (like infectious diseases) with an uninformed audience. if the swine flu be as successful of a pathogen as everyone thinks it is then it would have kill off everyone in that original town within mexico and would have never made it out! the swine flu is only a few percentages highly developed in virulence than normal flu. and just for enlightening purposes, the flu (all influenzas) has its reservoir in birds and pigs. all flu should enjoy an animals name before it, because humans are not natural reservoirs for the damned entity!
