I bought a beautiful head of lettuce from a road side stand. got it home rinsed it okay and noticed it to have a earthy smell to it. Made a salad for our Family with our steak. Today we have another salad with the lettuce last night I be up most of the night with a bloated feeling beside some nausea Hubby seemed fine. Today we are both with diarrhea and the nausea. The only point we have both had the same is the lettuce. I own to tell you I just never remember lettuce having a smell at adjectives. We get so many media scare I am just checking if there are tips out there?
