More people die from regular flu, but they haven't gone crazy over that all these years.

Actually Dre, the Spanish Flu be just about the same virus as Swine Flu. The point is, back then there be no modernized medicine and hygiene wasn't exactly up to par. I think this Swine Flu thing is chancy - in lesser developed countries. The only Americans that are within real danger are infants, the elderly, and those with feeble immune systems. The same people that are in danger of complications from the regular flu.
People, please appropriate the time to research things instead of just being afraid because the media tell you to. Right after all this Swine Flu stuff started I got the flu. Was it Swine? I don't know. Did I survive with rest and plenty of liquid? Yes.
I'd say that having a good immune system and this bloodbath you because of your good immune system is a big enough deal to me..and it could turn out to be the spanish flu again..massacre MILLIONS OF PEOPLE. Source(s): logic and common sense

i deliberate that everyone is definatly making a big deal out of swine flu obviously helped along by the medium blowing it WAY out of proportion! The effects of swine flu are exactly that same as regular flu and i have researched flu and the percentage of deaths from regular flu is greater than that of swine flu. only ancestors with other health disorders die from swine flu unless they have a outstandingly week immune system, but they would have died from regular flu anyway.
i know about 10 people who get swine flu, 6 of which where confirmed as swine flu, and they all recovered within a week. i have an idea that i got swine flu myself but it was confirmed because i didn't go to the GP.
I know quite alot of people who have/had swineflu.
Theres nought else we can do so why stress?

It's slightly more severe than regular flu but still thoroughly recoverable from. It affects people with serious breathing conditions the worst, and the relatives who do die tend to be ones with very severe breathing problems (Not to say adjectives people with breathing difficulties will die if they get it..)
And yes several of my friends got swine flu and not one finished up in hospital :)
i no one personage the has the swine flu but i think it is scary in a minute
well i think it is big because so many society have died but it will pass soon
