Do I enjoy BV? I entail to know!?
okay so it's kind of hard not to notice the discouraging odour coming from my vag. and it's really got me self conscious. I've tried covering it up with perfume but it doesn't work.
first question purely happened to be the one i was looking for.
after reading it over i found out that i might have bacterial vaginosis.
but beforehand i go to the doctor's or anyone else i want to know for sure if i have it.
I have experienced both symptoms but it said that most women obtain it usually after sexual intercourse.
i don't want to be self conscious the rest of my life. someone PLEASE help me!
Answers: BV is cause by an imbalance in the bacteria usually found in the vagina. The term for it is "flora". When the imbalance occur the overload of "bad bacteria" eat the "good bacteria" resulting within the odor and discharge. The good news is that it is common and treatable. You dont own to have had sex to contract it. Possible causes could be douching, swimming within pools, jacquizzies(spelling) taking baths with bubble baths and the list goes on. One track to cure it without going to the doctor is with plain yogert. One with stirring acidopholis. You have to actually insert it into the vagina. Using a medicine dropper or applicator for yeast creams works ably. Use it for about a week before you go to bed. Its messy but it works. The germs found in the yogert is the good bacteria within your body and it helps you naturally kill the impossible to create a more balanced flora. The pills are also available in a health food store but the fastest track to get relief is plain yogurt. Good Luck
If you read the symptoms and they game what you have, it is very likely. The dr will do a swap (like a pap) to inform for sure and then give you antibiotics. It is not b/c your dirty or a sex thing. It is pretty much a reverse yeast infection from what my dr told me. Source(s): I have asymptomatic BV and didn't know it when I was preggo with my daughter
If you use tampons, you may need to douche. Tampons also can explanation infections. Go to your doctor.

Women with BV may own an abnormal vaginal discharge with an unpleasant odor. Some women report a strong fish-like odor, especially after sex. The discharge can be white (milky) or gray. It may also be foamy or watery. Other symptoms may include burning when urinating, itching around the outside of the vagina, and irritation. These symptoms may also be cause by another type of infection, so it is important to see a doctor. Some women with BV have no symptoms at adjectives.
