Hiv--Sore throat / congestion three weeks after swallowing?
I know this sounds a bit neurotic, however...
nt down on a guy about four weeks ago. I swallowed. Three weeks after, I woke up with a horrible, horrible sore throat. It's last about a week now. I've also become extremely congested-this isn't exactly flu / cold season, either.
Can HIV manifest contained by a mere sore throat?

A Sore throat can be a symptom of anything including HIV, if anything you should know the safety of all your partners.
second of all, your're correct, it's not flu season -- but your sore throat and congestion may have a much much much more benign explanation: allergies. If you spend lots of time outdoors, around furry pets, etc...that could be the reason for your symptoms.
