Hi Malllory!
sure to contaminants (dusts, dirts, pollens) or chemicals might be the reason why your pink eye keeps on coming back.
If you have allergic pink eye, find the one that cause it and get rid of them. They can be pollen, dust or animal dander. The usual suspects are the things that are small enough to get into your eye at any time of the hours of daylight.
Wash your hands regularly. It can get rid of the bacteria that spread to your hand the moment they make contact with your eyes, and it can also prevent any other bacteria from transferring from your hand to your eyes. Frequent hand washing will lessen the risk of you spreading the condition.
Always do remember that eyes are very sensitive organ so you hold to do extra care for them.
I doubt you have contaminated your drops, IF they are antibiotic drops - you never said what they be.
an be from, and is cured by:
1. virus = resolves in time
2. Allergy- antihistamines
3. bacteria - antibiotic drops - which may or may not cover well that dedicated bacteria. So, if one drop is not working, another may be needed.
1 Before using intuitive pinkeye treatments, keep your eyes clean by wiping them regularly beside a cotton ball and warm, sterile water. Do not wear contact lenses or touch your eyes. Use heat compresses to soothe irritation.
Step 2 Place a moist, cool chamomile tea bag on your eye for 10 minutes at a time, or use a small cup to soak your eye area in the steeped tea.
Step 4 Mix honey with warm, sterile water and place the mixture directly surrounded by the eye. Although this natural antiseptic is typically effective, it does sting
I have the exact same problem. It all started roughly speaking a year ago when i tried on makeup in Sephora, now I get it at lowest possible twice a month. I thought my prescription eye drops were infected but replacing them didnt seem to help. :( Its getting expensive to replace my makeup every few weeks, so if you find something that really works, email me please. :)
It is probably nothing to worry about.
Either you hold conjunctivitis or someone farted on your pillow before you went to bed last hours of darkness.
