HIV testing when have surgery?

Would most hospitals require an HIV when someone is having a surgery like a hernia operation? Wouldn't there be a risk sour of all that blood and using surgical instruments?
Answers:    You cannot be *required* to take an HIV test previously surgery, however in many cases you will be asked to take a assessment, especially in a "messy" surgery that will involve a lot of blood.
is so the doctors can take extra precautions for their own sanctuary. You can certainly refuse an HIV test, surrounded by which case the doctors could either refuse to make the surgery, or in most cases would just play on the side of safety and assume you are HIV+ and so take the same precautions with you as they would near someone who was...

Hope this helps.
