HIV try-out !! SCARED!!?
Hey everybody
ve an job oportunity overseas and I was asked to cart the HIV test, I have been freaking out over 4 months presently, I really am scared to take that test and come out positive. this is the basis I am so scared
When I was a teenager I have a really confusing period in my life and all right one day in a game combat with my best friend we started kissing and I thought I liked it, I was close to 15 years old back then perchance younger, we would kiss and just fool around, the first years we would just kiss and touch each other and that be it, when I was like 17 I had sexual intercourse near him and of course since I was so young I didnt even feel about protection, we did it a few times, last time I can recall that we did it be when I turned 20, I never had sexual intercouse with anyone else, and he didn't either (he said he didnt) immediately I'm 23 years old, we stopped doing that a while back and now I'm merely dating a girl and actually engaged, and now that I'm nearly to go overseas I'm really afraid I may be HIV positive, I mean I think nearly it over and over again and I really trust he never did anything with anybody else but there is stil doubt and I really am afraid of taking the test... it's be 3 years now since last time I was beside him, do you think I have high fortune of getting a positive result? thanks
Answers: I agree with the gentleman that said that the peculiar are, based on age and relative number of experiences, that you probably DON'T have it.
ver, the only method to know for sure is to be tested.
I've been tested before, and the test itself is nil, just a blood test. But I know the wait can be nerveracking, especially if you are so worried roughly speaking it.
I am not sure why a perspective employer would need to know this, by the way...
It is best to take it over with and just KNOW. And it would be a benefit to you, and your finacee. She will need to know if you are. At lowest possible that's my take on it.
anyway, having HIV is not the end of the world. There are treatments available to assist beside that.
but again, my gut feeling is that you are probably not positive. But just get the assessment over with so that you and your fiancee can be at peace and will definately know for sure.
Good luck!
the test. Then YOU'LL know, instead of one worried about it. Source(s): .
You have one positive thing going for you statistically and to be precise age. The number of sexual partners a person has distinctly increases with age, and therefore so does the risk. The fact that you be young and inexperienced during these occasions is most likely going to be a pious thing.
But, ultimately, just biting the bullet and taking the test is the one and only thing you can do. The earlier you find out, the longer you will live a normal hygienic life. And, like I said, odds are you're fine, a short time ago get it over with. You are already + or - .... finding out doesn't change that actuality so you might as well just do it...
it doesn't sound very potential that you have HIV but you need to take the try-out to know. i understand that even if you trusted him there is always a BIT of doubt. but you necessitate to take the test to know if you have it so you can protect YOUR adjectives partners and so you don't pass the disease on if by chance you enjoy it.
if you do have it, there are actually treatments immediately that can prevent HIV from progressing into AIDS. but you have to know that you have HIV to work out a treatment plan with your doctor. so even if you thieve the test and it is positive it's not hopeless anymore, medical technology has progressed a lot. no business what the result is, it's better to know so that either you can stop worrying about it or you can get treatment. and i believe you have a low chance of getting a positive result.
