3 days after taking antibiotics and i still cant swallow because it hurts to much what do i do?
I went to the doctor and he didnt know exactly what kind of infection it was but i have a bunch of puss on my tounsals and uvula. and he told me by today i should be feeling better but it still hurts to much to swallow and know i have a rash..... what to do..

either start with second course of antibiotic or have need of different antibiotic. ask ur doctor or get a second opinion.
Make sure you are taking them correctly-- some can't be combined next to calcium, etc.
call the doc if things arent' better by morning, he may want to switch your meds or dosage.
Side note: did they take a culture? If not, your specific infection may not respond to the antibiotic you are on. Every infection should be cultured formerly the perscription is written, and if your doc isn't, I'd change doctors.
