Answers: Re-F***ing-lax! If the dog was rabid, it would be dead by now. Yes, you can achieve rabies from bodily fluids interacting with open or semi-open wounds, but since the dog is showing symptoms that sound NOTHING close to rabies, you should be A-OK. What the dog is feeling sounds more like bacteria or possibly a parasite, but clearly not a virus. Rabies is a virus that effects the nervous system and nothing else. Eventually it infects the brain and kills the animal. It have never really been known to cause vomiting nor diarrhea. Just aggression, blank staring, and foaming at the mouth.
