20 days of diarrhea. please help out!?
i've had diarrhea for almost 20 days now,
now it seems to be getting more frequent and more smelly and just looser (sorry if its too much info)
i own also been taking imodium or pepto bismal & anti diarrhial stuff.
but nothing is working. and im getting cramps and stomach aches because of it.
food or other meds?
and what should i try and stay away from?

20 days is abnormally long. Don't know if your stomach pain you said is from the medicine or not. Don't too much of those stuffs, try to basically stick with Imodium and follow as directed. With food intake, think BRAT diet
Apple sauce or apple
Dry toast
Dink lots of gatorade or like product - to replace your electrolytes and potassium. Drink Chinese tea if you want tea. Avoid coffee, soda, and citrus juice. You should drink blueberry juice (or/and cranberry juice) to facilitate prevent UTI just in case it might spread to your bladder.
If you enjoy stomach ache from it, take Gaviscone extra strength - follow direction.
Call your Dr. back and update him. This is not natural , they need to do more tests on you. Jake's diet is amazingly good also.
