15 month prehistoric next to diarrhea for 10 days immediately, Can it be more next only a viral malady?
My 15 month old Has horrible diarrhea, She's had it for at least 10 days immediately, She's eatting fine now, She has been drinking alot , i know she can't be dry, I took her to the doc's last week and all they did was supply me a piece of paper saying what to do and how to keep her hydrated! she have sever diarrhea, she must go about 6-8 times a day and its similar to water and yellow, sometimes green...
My only ask is could it be something else causeing all this? She also has a small hernia in her belly button, and duplicate time that i noticed that, the diarrhea started.also i've noticed she is very grumpy... approaching all the time... but i would be too.. so i understand her! lol i just don't know if its something internally or if its something that will be gone tomorrow.. pls sustain..

Sounds like she may enjoy rotovirus... my son had that and had the same problem. There isnt a mode to really treat it but to let it run its course and make sure she keeps consumption and drinknig plenty of water. Also, have you switched any of her foods or beverages? This could also be an allergy to something.
You said the doc gave you a piece of paper saying what to do and how to keep hold of her hydrated. Does it say anything if the condition doesn't improve within X amount of days. If it does use that as a guideline, if it don't I'd appropriate her back ASAP. This time ask how long should I wait for symptoms to improve, and is near something that I should watch that would warrant an ER visit.
Take her back to the doctor and tell them that you own been doing everything you were told and she still has the diarrhea. Good Luck!
