Bacterial Vag Infection that won't travel away?
Over 1.5 months ago, I went to the doctors with a UTI. That was treated. A few weeks then I noticed a few of the symptoms returning, but with a discharge. I assumed it was another UTI next to a yeast infection.
I would like to mention that I have solitary had one sexual partner and vice versa. My boyfriend and I were best friends for years before we contracted to date a few years back. (I'm 21 and he is 20.)
Besides that point, the doctor's office insisted on checking for STDs because of my age and I let them because I know that they would be negative---and I was right.
It's be almost two weeks since the end of my last antibiotic pill and my discharge is coming back along beside a few of those nagging symptoms, like occasional burning.
Was my antibiotic not strong enough?
I have not have sex since BEFORE my UTI was treated (lloonng time.) so its NOTHING sex related in terms of irritation.
I'm just fustrated...any suggestions ladies?
Answers: Did you go to the gyno or regular physcian? I recommend going to a gyno if you didn't past... I would defintely return to the doctors ASAP and explain that the symptons are returning once again. This could turn into a serious condition so it is important that you promptly return to the doctors... I don't have suggestions of what it could be simply because I wouldn't want to say one entity and it be another... although it seems evident to me that the antibiotics were lately not strong enough. Your doctor will have other antibiotics that you can take and surely one will work!
You really should see a doctor.Hope this helps:)
I be treated for bacterial/yeast vag infections for 10 months before my symptoms went away.
only point I can attribute it to was the house we use to live in had a pool and I use to swim every providence I got.
When we purchased the house we didn't change the water and kept one and the same pool service the previous owners had.
