Amoxicillan dosage for strep/ear infections.?
I have a large bottle of unexpired amoxicillan, and because it is a holiday weekend and my Dr. is unavailable...I am going to help yourself to some of what I have at home. What dosage would be standard for strep symptoms & an ear infection?

mild infections go with 500 mg every 12 hours. moderate to server infection 500 mg every 8 hours. Also very essential to continue until the medicine is completely gone even if you are feeling better. Your doctor will offer you the amount he thinks you should take and take it adjectives! Also you should at they very least call and have a word to your doctor before you start taking any medication that is prescription. ALSO Large single doses only work on solid things with this drug and ear and strep are not among them.
