4 year old's stomach is tender to touch, vomiting, diahrrea - no confusion?
My 4 year old son woke up at 5am complaining of nausea and soon after, vomited -- he had no fever. He vomited a few more times over nearly 2 hours and then had diahrrea once and seemed fine save for that. He was fine all day, played as he in general does and never got sick again, never ran a fever. When I be tucking him into bed, he complained when pressure was put on his stomach and I barely touched it and he acted as if it hurt really bad. I will trade name a call to the doctor in the morning but wondering if anyone knows what this might be? Thanks for any answers!
is hard to answer, there are so many possibilities, that I won't roll because there's no reason to make you panic. Tender tummy is usually not a angelic thing.
If he can drink then keep him hydrated. Watch for a confusion. If he develops a fever then I suggest taking him to the ER. Also, if you have any doubts after you should go to the ER anyway...
That is so scary =(
Hello Jessica,
It does sound as if your son has caught a bug of some kind. You don't other have to eat the same food to detain bugs that are on visitors.
ould be a type of stomach flu.
a lot of times you don't obligation to run a fever because of them, although you're still sick and it's still contagious. there's nothing much you can do for them besides get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids.
probably the flu..it is flu season.....good luck!!
