17, tonsils swollen, can i carry them removed?

If you continue to get frequent throat infections, yes those tonsils need to come out. Does ur throat hurt?
Okay first past its sell-by date, you must learn that strep throat and tonsillitis are 2 totally different infections! You can still get strep throat after you have your tonsils out. Also to enjoy your tonsils out you have to have tonsillitis 2-3 times a year. What your having is sinus/allergy problems and the drip is irritating your tonsils cause them to become swollen and sore. That is NOT tonsillitis!
That being said your not a good candidate to own them removed. Maybe you should just have your adenoids removed instead. That has more to do near your sinuses and may actually help. I had tonsillitis 6 times a year since I be about 7 and just had my tonsils taken out concluding year. It was the worst experience of my life, but it was worth it.
