Do doctors check for MRSA virus during bloodwork?
no. i know people are checked if they're being admitted to the hospital or if they've be in the hospital for + 48 hours in the past 3 months. nurses will swab the nares, groin nouns, and rectal area for MRSA and VRE.
most hospital staff members have MRSA so it's out within the community. hence, when nurses wear their dirty scrubs / shoes to the grocery stores.. (gross). Source(s): i probably have it, but i feel aight.
