Would straightening backing destroy leader lice?
I THINK I have head lice. I'm not too sure. I straighten my hair every other daytime, so it wouldn't be going out of my way or anything, and I know it ruins your hair.. but whatever.

I don't really want to recount my parents because I don't want them to freak out if I don't have it. I've had it before. And I regard I got it from my cousins because I was at thier cottage, and before that my commander wasn't itchy at all.
yday shampoo use is all that is needed to cure it...besides...every day spike care is very good for the fuzz unlike the common myth that it is not good...once a week hair tub would give enough time for the oil to be secreted and occluded contained by the hair and give chance for infections
use a restrained shampoo
and NO..straightening hair has no effect
You really should tell your parents but if your parents are the type that freak out a little too much, only get rid of them your self. get a fine-tooth comb and some lice-killing shampoo and knock them off your down and into something like a bucket in which you can see them and then try buring them past its sell-by date after washing your hair with lukewarm dampen.
Head lice are an ongoing problem in the elementary school here ....

The most economical way to obtain rid of head lice is to saturate your hair resourcefully with whatever (cheap?) conditioner, and then do the fine-comb point. There are also special shampoos, like Kwellada. Ask your pharmacist.
For my god-daughter, I got (by asking a pharmacist) an electric comb that's very effective. It seem to get adults, juveniles, and eggs. It has to be repeated once or even twice, but it does work!
I've noticed among the little kids that it's the ones next to 'big' hair that give a comfy home for the critters. Children with short curls or hair that's worn close to the head (braids, etc.) seem to be smaller quantity affected.
perfectly reasonable that you might own picked it up while you were at the cottage. It's not a bad idea to pass your own pillow case ....
