Do i own an ear infection?

i took a bath and i put water in my ear later i hardly couldn't hear nothing (but that happen a long time ago) so i go to the doctor because i keep having a sharp pain...i guess they cleaned it they done a severely lazy job but i Steel couldn't hear straight but the pain stop..presently a few weeks later liquid comes out and wax sometimes come out on its own also it smells bad...what can i do? can i merely use a q tip and get rid of the problem im having?
Answers:    no you do not have a ear infection.doctors must hold cleaned the wax.some residual wax is coming out now. suggest using wax solvent ear drops and use cotton to clean the wax after some time Source(s): personal experience
