High white blood cell count? what could this be from?

I got a blood test today, they said i had a high-ranking white blood cell count. i feel decently fine, and they said don't worry roughly it. I have had stomach pains lately.. but i have other had those. I got my ear pierced a few days ago. could that be why? my body is trying to kill the foreign reason?

white blood cells normally signify an infection.
High white blood cell count could indicate

Although an elevated white count commonly indicates an infection somewhere in or on the body, it doesn't always and doesn't automatically mean infection. Reactions to some medication can elevate a white count. So can bone marrow & immune disorders and there are a whole bunch of other things that can elevate a white count. You likely own an elevation of one particular type of white cell. Please don't invite speculation. You still won't know what the cause is or what can be done for it.

A low red count & white count usually indicates an infection somewhere. Have them look for it. Not all infections are gonna jump out at you & voice here I am..
Not to scare you, but my daughter in law be having low blood counts & after 2 years, they found out she had Hodgkin's disease.
