Bullseye reckless - noticeably lyme disease?

http://tinypic.com/r/bfrp89/3 - picture of rash
rother has got this ring on his final in the shape of a bullseye [dark red in the middle, then a short time lighter, and then darker again in the outer ring]. He be 99.9% not bitten by a tick. It is growing, already 17cm in diameter. Can it be something else than lyme disease? If anyone has any information, please help! He have been to the doctor but they were not helpful.

If you know something almost this type of rash, please let me know ASAP.
Answers:     The ticks that carry Lyme are tiny and their bite is usually painless. How would he know that he WASN'T bitten by a tick?

You need to run to another doctor then. He possibly could have been bitten by a tick, already hold Lyme, and just have the random over-hasty. It happens. But I definitely think it's Lyme beside that kind of rash sorry. Make sure you go see another doctor and bring back on antibiotics asap. Also they've been researching transmission through things other than ticks (like mosquitoes) but I wouldn't articulate that to a doctor they'll call you crazy lol. Try spraying Benadryl on it to stop the pain and take Motrin to achieve the swelling down; if the Benadryl helps then it was probably an allergy to something. Hope this help and I hope your brother feels better!
Bulls-eye rashes come within a variety of sizes and shades. Some people get them smaller and lighter and others will seize huge dark ones like in that picture. Mine be hardly noticeable but you could tell here was a ring shaped rash of some kind, and I didn't remember individual bitten by a tick. And the majority of people who are bitten don't even get a rash, which to me would be worse because afterwards you wouldn't seek treatment until long after the disease has taken hold of your body and it's too late to destroy it. Your brother should consider himself lucky but needs to get seen on the double.
s put on about a week's worth of antibiotics. This is NOT enough! Be sure your brother go to the doctor ASAP and gets put on at least three weeks of antibiotics, preferably more. If he doesn't do this right away the Lyme will ravage his body and make him drastically sick (most likely for the rest of his life). Once you have it you can't cure it. There are all kind of alternative medicines out there to try and some people enjoy had success with IRT psychiatric therapy (lymefree.com), but it's best to kill it in its earliest stages. And he needs to brand sure the doctors don't just "write him off". He needs to take this seriously and attain treated. Have him be persistent with his doctors because some doctors out there don't even want to acknowledge that Lyme even exists and commonly these patients are seen as "crazy". It's horrible -- I've been through it.

Good luck!
He might have been bitten by a spider or a bug and he is allergic
