Are you worried roughly contracting swine flu?
after hearing about people dying from the swine flu virus, and own not had underlying health issues, are you concerned about becoming unwell with swine flu?
ink the shock death (no underlying health issues) were in poorer countries, where on earth the medical facilities and testing was poor... for adjectives we know, these "healthy people" may have had HIV/AIDS or something equally as sinister and never found out in the order of it.
So, as I'm in a richer country and am relatively healthy most of the time... no, I'm not in the slightest bit worried :)
As a parent of two young children i am quite worried yes, especially after audible range the news today a girl the same age as mine has died surrounded by the UK, who has no underlying conditions and was perfectly clean previously, as was a doctor who also died.
any normal flu doesnt sweep the UK during summer months at such a in haste rate, killing otherwise healthy people, it doesnt sweep thru a total high school as it has here locally this week disappearing a huge chunk of the schools children in isolation at home...
apparently we are supposed to be keeping things 'in perspective' one minute, the subsequent they are offering the whole of the UK injections before the end of the year...if official wasnt worried, do u really think they would be 'wasting' huge amounts of money and resources to undertake such a huge vaccine programme?
i wasn't but a short time ago flew to come on holiday from the uk to another country that has a very high number of swine flu cases, most of them caught after travelling so immediately that i'm poorly i starting to worry a bit,but then again i suffer from really bad ashma so I don`t know i should worry
Nearly 24 weeks beside a baby on the way, meaning that I'm a risk group?
ourse I'm worried give or take a few contracting it. Mostly because doctors keep on telling me my body will react more severely to it, and in attendance is no vaccine to save myself from it. And to be honest, I don't want to risk mine or my baby's life, thank you very much.
No.
If I get it, I get it. It's just a slightly more terrifying flu.
A few of my friends had it, they're perfectly fine (thank goodness). Screw the media.
I hope i dont get it but i think i already have it. I got the flu about 2 months ago didnt see the doctor stupid me. Got over it with rest
