65,000 populace to die from swine flu?
the goverment predicts that 65,000 people will die from swin flu, why cant they stop this and do more

Anyway you might die from the vaccine which killed more people contained by the 70's than the flu itself.. ;) Not much you can do, if it's going to happen then it's going to happen, likelihood are you won't die, there are after all 6 billion people on the planet.
Nobody can stop this in a minute, it is too late to do anything. People will die from swine flu no matter what but will it be higher than 65000 if it get worse, possibly. we will have to wait and see how the virus evolves and i pray to God it doesn't get worse or humanity will be on the brink of the biggest pandemic EVER see in history.

Alright. did you know that swine flu is simply the common flu that everyone gets its just a moment or two different. and the majority of those ppl that will die will be the ones that are have bad immune systems. its a common entity that happens in the world. they are doing more my find new ways of making antibiotics. purely because you don't hear about it on the news about what the govt is doing doesn't expect they aren't doing anything. so just chill and it will be ok

What exactly do you suggest they do? Britain is dealing with this better than any other country so far and we should have a vaccine within sixt to eight weeks. To create a specific vaccine such as this take time and can only be done once the strain has been identified and is available to work on.
People die from the flu every year. It is just bit of being human. We get sick and die. Each individual needs to thieve responsibility for themselves. It isn't the government's job to make sure the eat right, clean their hands, get rest and take the flu shot. The gov't can solely do so much.

Hi again Steen. Of all the swine flu questions posted, you must enjoy posted at least 70% of them in recent days! Clearly our reassurance isn't enough. We are within the midst of a global pandemic, swine flu WILL spread and yes it will kill a very small proportion of those. You need to accept this. Worrying will not change this reality.

There isn't a need for you to be scared, only just aware. Please relax. We are all in the same boat. Thousands of population die from normal seasonal flu each year and you do not bat an eyelid.
