It sounds like a intervening cut off of circulation or possibly a trapped nerve.
Tingling would indicate circulation being restored.
Whack it against a stool. If it's still numb, you've got a problem.
well try putting some rime. if that doesnt work then go see a local doctor. usually your arms can fall asleep because of your position so your blood wont really circulate right.
If it happen again you should go see your doctor because something could be wrong.
Definitely get that checked out...I have no notion what's wrong with you, but it could be serious...
