What is scoliosis surgery similar to?

I'm having Spinal Fusion for Scoliosis in 4 days (August 19th). And I'm kinda scared do I'm only 15. I know a lot of 15 year olds have have this done, but can anybody tell me what to expect and what to do to prepare for it? And explain the pain too please.

ven't really got a clue about this but my tip for you would be.. Think of the worst pain possible, It will be smaller number.
