Anti depressents cause restless leg syndrome?

I am currently on anti-depressants (lowest dose of 5mg a day - sertraline) and i have been suffering next to restless legs for quite a while. At first i thought it could have been because im pregnant (34weeks) but after i forgot to help yourself to my tablets for 2 days, my restless leg syndrome seemed to go. I REALLY dont want to take my tablets again very soon as my rls has been so bad, ive be awake for full nights some times even thought ive been so so tired. I dont want to have any more night like that, plus the tablets dont seem to be doing the job anyway. Ive tried to attain a doc appointment but cant get one til next tues, so what can i do? How bad would it be to progress cold turkey with the tabs?
Answers:    I don't know if antidepressants cause RLS, but as heaps things as there are that can go wrong when they're used, especially during pregnancy, I'd try to get an answer ASAP, not subsequent Tuesday. I'd ask my current doctor's office to refer me to someone who could see me sooner or at least speak with your current doctor's nurse roughly speaking the problem. She or he would be the best person to answer your question about going cold turkey. Sounds close to a good idea if the tablets don't seem to be doing the work anyway. The nurse is almost always a better source of information than just waiting it out. Source(s): Having been pregnant, and appropriate old common sense along with an prosperity of caution.
