Highschool issues??
When I was born I was diagnosed with Type III Osteogenesis Imperfecta. I'm still alive (obviously) and I've only just started highschool (big thrill) The main thing I'm concerned about is that in attendance are a lot of kids at the school, I'm worried that if I get jostle too much in a crowd I'll get a break, another thing is accounts I carry around. I'm trying to figure out how to carry them in need breaking a rib. Doesn anyone have any suggestions?
Answers: tell your parents to christen the school and to talk to the nurse so she an give you a overhaul thingy for the whole school year that will let you vacate your class earlier than everyone else to get to you next class Source(s): broke ankle later year
Have your parents show the written diagnosis and recommended accomodations to your school counselor. The counselor will put together sure you have the accomodations that you need. This is mandated by canon; they have to do this.
modations you might ask for are having two copies of all your textbook so that you can leave one at home and one in each of your classrooms. That passageway, you won't have to carry any books.
Here are some more general rear to school tips, from a teacher:
locker or rollin backpack
get bodyguards... or, a wheelchair. everyone always gives you profoundly of room when you're in a wheelchair... and when people get close, start screaming... yeah, that other works...
When the ending bell rings for each class, try not to hurry out of the room approaching most kids do. Just stay behind and wait for everyone else to leave. And once you're contained by the halls, just watch where on earth you're going and make sure no one is in your opening.
