My mother have have double sight for six days very soon. Has anyone else have this? How long did it finishing?

My mother has had double vision (binocular/vertical diplopia) for six days immediately. It came on suddenly, without head trauma or any other exact. She can see somewhat if she covers one eye, but it makes her off-balance. Has anyone else had this? If so, how long did it last?
that she HAS see an ophthalmologist. He mentioned that it was a common occurrence that would fade on its own in six to eight weeks.

Thanks in advance!
Answers:    I have slight double figment of the imagination because my eyes don't focus together precisely.I wear glasses to correct the problem. I'm not wearing them now because I don't have a problem for close work - distance is a different event. But you are not talking about what I have because mine is undying.

Some medication can also cause blurry vision although not usually diplopia.

She can wear an eye patch to help the set off issues although this might cause more strain on the eye she is using. She can also alternate. It's her call.
real issue is what if the problem isn't resolved within 2 months. That's when she makes another appointment.
