What does blood look close to when vomited up?

I've been sick, first I had a neck within bad condition that it gave me horrible head ache and made me sick to the stomach. Today however, I only have had Gatorade, and one saltine cracker. I threw the cracker stern up and, the gatorade is red, but there was dark red, congealed bits that reminded me of blood, could it be?
Answers:    usually blood contained by vomit looks like coffee grounds.
