Light head spells when close my term?

Every month now for a long time i have been getting reading light headed when its near that time of the month. There have be times where i have near ratification out. I eat some sugar and feel better. is this normal?
Answers:    Don't drink sugar to help it. Take iron supplements instead. I had the same problem as a young at heart teen. I even passed out in church. It was embarrassing, but iron help tremendously.
