Am I person paranoid in the order of thinking I enjoy Multiple Sclerosis?
I am the right age, sex, and heritage to have an increased risk of the disease. I feel some of the symptoms like tingling foot, flashing lights, clumsiness, strange vision... but not all the time (come and go) and not severe enough to not wright stale as something that's not dangerous. However, this fear has plagued me for at lowest a year now and I worry that I'm just person paranoid. I had a horrible year last year with anxiety (provoked by my environment) which I have never experienced before. Now that I'm out (less anxiety), I am still occasionally feeling symptoms and worrying about MS.
only just being paranoid? If I do possibly have MS, wouldn't I do better to wait until symptoms are more pronounced? There's no benefit to discovering this rash so it would be okay to not worry about it now, right?
Answers: I fumbled around with a variety of Docs for 5 years. I finally go to Mayos had MRI and spinal tap and they confirmed I had MS. The maker of the ABC drugs say the earlier you start treatment the longer you can delay the disabilities. Is this true or do they merely want to sell more product ?
Do not verbs! My mum is actually a specialist nurce that deals with Multiple Sclerosis and things such as Parkinson's Disease. I'm immensely sure you don't have it, the signs would be much more noticeable and by a year, it would have hit you full on surrounded by the face.
If your still worried, go and see a doctor or someone about it.
I hope you stop worrying now. Source(s): A specialist nurses son!
If you enjoy relapsing-remitting MS, you will want a diagnosis ASAP, as the sooner you can start treatment, the better your prognosis will be.
That said, MS is not a very common disease. It's actually not unusual for citizens dealing with anxiety and stress to have symptoms that mimic MS symptoms, so seeing that you have be worrying and that you have had problems with axiety, it seem much more likely that these are causing your problems.
