I hold a friend who is 45 next to Lupis?

I heard that the average age for diagnoses is between 15 and 44. Webmd says that life expectancy after diagnoses is around 20 years at the present time. She says she has heart problems and all other organ problems. She is have surgery for a lower GI (stomach) tomorrow. How often do Lupis patients have surgeries? Is most of the surgeries a success. She say she feel old and feels close to she is dying. How long do you think she could live?
Answers:    There are so many variations within the disease that your question is almost impossible to answer. Overall, for all patients with SLE taken together, the enthusiasm expectancy is normal. Quite an achievement and improvement over previous years.
