What is marijuana's effect on fibromyalgia?

I've been told by one doctor that that I most likely have fibromyalgia and should consider a trial of a medication call lyrica.
waiting on a second opinion from another doctor.

But, what I would like to know is how would the use of marijuana effect someone with fibromyalgia?

have two occasions that have had indistinguishable outcome.

One, I was in a car while friends be smoking weed (hotboxing it) and I got a contact high. The morning after, I had excrutiating torment in my entire right arm that was the worst thing I own ever felt. It didn't stop, and I spent the entire day with it elevated far above my commander in hopes to numb out the pain. I don't even remember much of the day but my mother said I be screaming and crying all day and night and incompetent to focus on anything she was saying. I eventually took a few sleeping pills and woke up the next morning next to MUCH less pain in my arm.

second point in time was when I actually smoked marijuana myself, and woke up the next morning screaming because of indistinguishable kind of pain in my right leg.

Like my arm, the dull pain wasn't limited to one area. It was a reflective and constant pain that was radiating through my entire leg.

Any explanations would be appreciated :)
Answers:     I have been diagnosed next to fibromyalgia and have now been on lyrica for 6 weeks. ( yes I hold gained about 5 lbs and I am not happy beside the results, it worked great for the first week and then stopped completely)
Any way, I smoked marijuana about a year ago in the past I was diagnosed but while I still had health problems. I do remember getting nouns while I was on the marijuana but the next day my entire body ache worse than my normal pain. I think it be because I felt relief with I be high I did to much and my pain worsened, but I don't know.
never heard of a spontaneous effect like that, but trials were done; I think within Canada and Washington State (not positive) and not sure if they are finished. I'm going to investigate. My personal belief (I'm a former nurse) is that it should be legal everywhere for all serious pain conditions. I suffer near fibro every day, and if it weren't for my kids and grandson, I would move to California where it is legal. I don't know if you hold a weight problem, but most people gain weight on Lyrica. Type Lyrica reviews into your rummage through bar. Also fibromyalgia-marijuana trials
I know a woman who have fibro and smokes..

She says that it actually helps her reasonably a bit... I've tried it myself while in pain, and it does relax muscles and help luxury it, which I would believe should help that condition..

But I'm not you, so I really don't know..

It's up to you to decide.
