What is keeping me from sleeping?
I posted this somewhere else, but no one answered. Okay, so for the past two nights, I've woken up contained by the middle of the night, at like 2-3 am, from this pain-like feeling surrounded by my lower tummy. (Not period pains or poop pains.) It's like right below my belly button on both sides of my stomach. It's not so much pain, as in recent times extreme uncomfortableness. I couldn't sleep when this happened, and last night it be so uncomfortable that I just cried for an hour and fell back asleep from crying at similar to 4:30-5:00. Please, don't tell me to go to the doctor; I already plan on calling her. But, does anyone have any notion what is wrong with me? I don't want it to happen again tonight, or, ever again, for that matter.. Please, support.
Answers: it may have been irritation in your intestines from intake something spicy or being extremely stressed out. Interestingly, 3am is when your stomach produces the most acid it makes every 24 hours. So it could be the dawn of an ulcer. Source(s): 4th year pharmacy student
