Loose and black stool?
Today I noticed my stool was kind of loose and night in color (not necessarily black but dark). I can't say if it's been that bearing for the past few days or not since I havem't really been checking the color. The past few days my stools enjoy been watery (diaherrea) and I've had a few stomach pains but they've adjectives been remedied by going to the bathroom (nothing out of the ordinary).
I was reading online that black stool in extraordinary might be indicative of intestinal bleeding and I'm freaking out. I feel perfectly fine right now but it's unerving me to read this stuff. I haven't eat anything different in the past 24 hours although I might've had unexpected combinations of food (ie oreos, smores, and spicy ramen all eaten within one and the same timeframe). But if it is actually blood in the stool, surely there would be other symptoms/pain?
Just seeking some reassurance
Answers: I can see why you are worried. Blood surrounded by your stool is never a good thing, but I would not be so quick to presume that is why you are having dark stools. In my belief, the combo if the oreos (black, and spicey ramen) would be enough to turn your stools dark and more loose. Before you panic, why dont you do yourself a favor and switch over to completely on form eating and see if it changes back to commonplace. It really should only take a day or for you to see a metamorphosis in your stool. However, for the sake of your health, you really should stop eating that crap. Stop ingestion processed foods in general. No soda. Eat mainly a intact foods diet rich in fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, nuts, and beans. You will discern so much better in the long run and your body will thank you for it at the end of your very long llife. Good luck!
Have you be taking pepto bismol by any chance? It says right on the bottle it turns your stool black. It happened to me and I be all scared.
