[DOCTORS AND FOOD EXPERTS ONLY PLEASE] Is it ok to munch through the blood of a chicken?

I have some raw chicken breast that I want to roast, but there's a few spots of blood in it and when you squeeze it, the blood ooze out.

Is this safe to eat? Some people out in that don't care and cook it up anyway. I think it's nasty and I other cut off areas like that before I cook it.
Answers:    So you haven't cooked it all the same? Well it is not bad for you at all. As long as the juices contained by your chicken (after it is cooked) run clear then it is safe to eat.
