My 7year matured son have Sarcoidosis, can anyone furnish info on it?
Its in his eyes and lungs, hes been on meds for it we have be to over 60 Dr.s.
Answers: I am 29 years old and have had sarcoidosis for give or take a few 4 years now, I have it in my lungs and surrounded by my skin. It has been quite mild for me. I enjoy next to no symptoms in my lungs, and lead a pretty involved lifestyle. It is a complex disease, but it can be something that is managed and I have be told it can spontaneously heal itself. I had pretty nasty lesion on my skin that have out of the blue turned to scars, so for me that is a HUGE entry.
n decided to stay away from any medicine that Drs have tried to tender me, and take oil of oregano and drink organic apple cider viniger everyday.
Sarcoidosis is a disease in which swelling (inflammation) occurs within the lymph nodes, lungs, liver, eyes, skin, or other tissues.
Sarcoidosis is characterized by noncaseating granulomas in one or more organs and tissues; etiology is unknown. The lungs and lymphatic system are most often affected, but sarcoidosis may affect any organ. Pulmonary symptoms continuum from none (limited disease) to exertional dyspnea and, rarely, respiratory or other organ failure (advanced disease). Diagnosis usually is first suspected because of pulmonary involvement and is confirmed by chest x-ray, biopsy, and exclusion of other causes of granulomatous inflammation. First-line treatment is corticosteroids. Prognosis is excellent for fixed disease but poor for more advanced disease. Source(s): http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/…

Sarcoid is a massively complex disease and this is one of the few times in the thousands of answers I have submitted that I feel it more adjectives to refer you to a resource site.
