Answers:    Try calling around to your local hospitals. Many of them have programs for uninsured adults that consent to them get medical testing, medications, and supplies at discounted prices base on income. Also try calling organizations like the United Way, they may be able to direct you to other healthcare aide programs.
I'm NOT a doctor. Please contact your doctor for proper medical guidance.
only thing I can think of is to contact the clinic you would step to and ask if they have any patient financial assistance programs or if they'll accept small payments respectively month. Just explain you don't have insurance and your husbands health issues. For the most part, the clinics and hospitals will work next to you. I believe most hospitals/clinics cannot deny treatment because of financial issues. I've gotten a lot of bills written off through financial assistance programs. The ones that didn't have those programs would bring small payments each month.

In regards to your husbands health, he markedly need to get in and see a pulmonologist. Sleep apnea can front to some serious health issues if left untreated.

communities of any size have a free clinic. It may be a long wait, both for an appointment and surrounded by the waiting room, but the practice of medicine is the same there as anywhere.

Best wishes.
Here contained by Louisiana we have a hospital system for people who can not afford the treatments. They will get you set up near the right doctors and if you can pay anything they will set up payments. Check with your state health deparment to see if your state have the same.
