Answers:     ive never heard of an over active liver.. i bet its better than an underactive liver!
It means your liver is acting alot, or too much. You'll have to go to the bathroom more recurrently and such.
There are different blood tests that they do
e liver enzymes will show them it here
is possible liver cell damage.
{Blood tests done: ALT,AST,GGT,Alk Phos}
2.the liver function tests will show them
o the 500 plus functions that the liver
does to keep the body well
[Blood test done: Bilirubin, INR, Albumin, Pt, Ptt}
3.the liver viral test are to see if a virus
r cell to replicate itself (like Hepatitis
A,B,C,etc.

Your blood work may be higher in any of
ore blood work(like you mentioned they
are going to do) to be sure of the
results before going to other conducting tests like an
Ultrasound or Ct scan, to look at the liver.
doctor may examine you by placing
his hand in the upper right quadrant of the
tummy, just under the rib cage.
He is checking to see if the liver is enlarged
of the liver, if it is enlarged. Enlargement
means nearby is inflammation in the liver.
Liver inflammation starts because the cells
of the liver have become diluted and
.
There are any number of things that can
cause such things:
alcohol consumption (which doesn't apply to
hings like carbon tetrachloride(as an
example), viral infections, biliary obstruction-
malformation-infection, heritable conditions,
auto immune disease, fatty liver disease,
As long as the cause is found and can be
stopped and any inflammation that has
developed is treated...the liver cell
his could be Mono infection, also.

Once you get your next blood work done...
if the level are still elevated: I would
epatologist. They might return to
normal as many things can cause an
elevated level...things like exercising
before having your blood work done and more.
ou want to look up any blood test and
their meaning {those I mentioned above or
that you may have done...you are allowed
a copy of the results of these tests} here is
