Last hours of darkness I be coughing up flem next to blood within it...?
I am 16 I cough up flem quiet frequently... Anyways last night I started coughing rock-hard and then when I finally coughed up some flem it had blood in it. I get all freaked out and my dad told me its fine I just coughed too hard and that cause the blood. This morning no more blood in my flem btw. Thanks!!
I am worried what if it is serious?? Any idea what it could be?? Thanks!!
Answers: happened to me asswell but im only 11.but my brother be fighting with me and he strangled me and when i coughed up flem there be blood in it.im fine now though dont worry :)
Go to you local ER now! You could have a viral infection, bronchitis, pneumonia, coccidioidomycosis, legionella, endocarditis, or many other things, basically go to a local ER or your doctor.
most probably bronchitis (wikipedia it for more info).
so yep, probably not serious.
