3D movies bothersome beside macular degeneration (eyes)?

We going to watch a 3D movie at the theatre soon, but am concerned that it may cause some discomfort for one who have macular degeneration (like tunnel vision) in both eyes. Does anyone have any experience with this please.
Answers:    I don't own macular degeneration and 3D movies ALWAYS bother my eyes.
