Has anyone ever have sudden distorted mirage?
I was at the zoo today and went to look at the hippo in the sea. All of a sudden it was as if each of my eyes was looking at something different and my mirage became very distorted, not blurry. I tried to focus on the sign that explained the hippo's habitat, and it was as if it be in two separate pieces as if each eye was looking at it differently. This last about 10 seconds because I went to sit down and closed my eyes. A minute next I was fine. That was 5 hours ago. I drove home and am okay. That's never happened up to that time. What could cause such a weird symptom. My vision is fine next to my contacts and my glasses. At that time I was wearing sunglasses that I've had for over a year. What could motivation such a strange thing to happen?
Answers: Maybe you are lack of vitamin A, Always wear your eyeglasses or sunglasses or much better eat food well and consult on eye specialist. Watch this video. Source(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHQpRt7vd…
It sounds as if the muscles in your eyes were contracting abnormally. I've have this happen to me a few times due to eye strain. I'm also a contact lens wearer and when it had happened to me I contacted my eye doctor.
uggested that when it occur again to close your eyes and gently massage your eyes and the areas around them including your temples. Stress and strain on your eyes is the incentive behind your muscles flexing like that.
Either way, its a right idea to contact your eye doctor just in valise.
High blood pressure can distort your vision. Has happen to me multiple times.
If it happen again....consider getting checked for early diabetes symptoms, possible mini stroke, etc.
It may be nothing....but it could also be an early restraining of more to come.
