You need to get a check up at the doctors anytime you see blood within your stool. It could be from hemorrhoids or more serious from the colon. Keep track of how often this occurs and if you have misery in that area. Your doctor will want to do some tests to be sure you don't enjoy other more serious problems such as cancer. I assume the blood is red so it is probably hemorrhoids. If you are bleeding further up the blood is not red; so you probably would not know it is blood. Hemorrhoids, been there done that. Don't you just hate how everyone jump to the "cancer" word here. It's very unlikely that is is cancer. There are MANY things that can cause blood within stool. You do need to go get it checked because even it's something as simple Hemorrhoids, you want to receive it treated as soon as possible.

no not at all...it could be anything from a hemorrhoid to cancer...i would definitely have it checked out
