Anorexia (refusing inpatient care)?
i am anorexia i have a bmi of 16.5 ive been told if i don't gain weight soon i will be forced to budge into an inpatient unit which i don't want to happen as i am starting college next week, what happen if i refuse?
Answers: ably hello Rose. tell whoever said this you dont need to, that youre coping, that your not anorexic. i do suggest you put on a bit of weight, newly enough to still be comfortable in your skin. my bmi is 13.7 and as long as i wear layers of poofy amorphous clothes, either no one cares, or not a soul notices. I have no clue how i have a low bmi, since i am typical looking except for my face, so...*shrugs. Don't want to be a hypocrite. just please look after yourself.
I would go in for inpatient diligence. People die from Anorexia. It is a serious problem. If you want to actually get through college and go on to grasp a good job then you inevitability to get better. You won't have the energy to bring through a days work if you carry on being Anorexic. You will have no feature of life. Just get some help while it's one offered. Your friends and family must be so worried about you .. please do the right thing ...
