Am i to childish to own an sore?
i am 13 years old and i have been prescribed near an ulcer for 4 months now. my doctor has advise me to not eat or drink any thing acidic, and have made me see a counsallor to see if it is caused by stress. turns out that it is and the reason that i am stressed is because i am too much of a neat freak and i disgust other people's clutter. this also brings up another point, that i have celiac disease. this is an infection in my small intestion that breaks down the organ's walls, from eating gluten/wheat,rye,barley. do theese two things connect when your conversation about ulcers and celiac's disease? and am i too young to own all these health problems?
thanks for your help(:
Answers: You're not too immature. Your Celiac Disease could be causing the ulcers, so it's good that you get it diagnosed. Follow the diet the doctor recommended to you. You should also avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen as these can also make ulcers worse. If you're still having abundantly of pain or have any blood in your stool, you should see your doctor again. There are medication that can help ulcers heal faster.
I know a guy who have an ulcer at age eleven, and that was years before they made the nouns between ulcers and bacteria. Certainly a digestive disorder makes energy harder for the stomach, which exacerbates a budding ulcer.
