?migraine?…

how do you cure Migraine?.

PLEASE HELP!...thanks
Answers:     blindfold yourself and jump in a dark closet near no noise. I swear to god this works. No joke it happens to me.
If you own had them before and know they are migraines (I get one around every month from hormones), try to catch them when they are first coming on before they get too unpromising. If I catch mine at the beginning and nip it in the bud, I can usually take over it, but if I let it go for a while, then it linger for days. Exedrin Migraine works pretty well because it has caffeine, but drinking a glass of coca-cola near tylonal works just as well and I like it better. Also, cover your eyes near a hot or cold cloth, I have heard people resembling different temps. Sometimes, I like hot on the head and cold on my neck (cold help nausea).
as soon as you feel it coming on, sip a coke, take two tylonal, go lay within a dark and quiet room with any a hot or cold cloth and doze for 20 or 30 minutes. sometimes you can kick it.

I have heard that acupuncture can work really powerfully for really bad chronic headaches. you can also get prescription strength torment killers from a doc or go to the hospital if you end up dried out from the nausea.
It's important to try to find out why you're have the migraines, but here are some things that have worked for me. Massage peppermint oil into the temples. I resembling to put a warm pack on the back of my head. I'm not sure why it works, but it other gives me some relief and helps me sleep. Also, if you can cut caffiene from your diet, when you hold a migraine you can eat or drink something with caffeine (or take something close to Excedrin migraine) and the caffeine helps. (If you're getting the caffeine every day, it doesn't help to put more caffeine resting on it.)
Having said all that, I have a rx for Frova (for women). It is supposed to be a menstrual migraine med, but it helps me throughout the month. Source(s): personal experience
I've had REALLY desperate migraines for quite some time, but I don't get them anymore because... OK, this might seem strange... I get Botox injections in my forehead. Botox is a muscle relaxant, so it stopped the muscles tensing up. It lasts for more or less a year and a half, then I have to move about back to the doctor to get it again. Another thing I found that works is Aleve. I've tried Tylenol and Advil, but Aleve markedly works better, as long as you take when you first suspect that your headache is in fact a migraine.

t is chronic than their are many measures. If this is a all of the sudden 1st time or hasn't ever been investigated by a doctor than I would run to the ER. Some non-narcotic ways to get rid of a Migraine is high flow Oxygen, Benadryl 50mg, Reglan 10mg and Saline Bolus of around 1000cc. Fioricet works for me most of the time. Dilaudid, Motrin, ice pack, Zofran ODT, subdued and dark place and TIME. Exedrine has caffine that helps some inhabitants. Get with a doctor to get drugs that help or an EMS friend who have access to the non-narcotic stuff if you have an issue with Migraines and are trying to avoid a trip to ER. Good Luck God Bless
