Tell me if this sounds close to acute sinusitis?

I believe this is what I have from reading about it. It says acute sinusitis happen about 3 times a year for people and last almost 10 days. I got it last January and it lasted in the region of that time. I surf and dive so my sinuses get messed up a lot but rarely is it this unpromising. My nose is fine, it is perfectly clear, no congestion at all. It is above my eye contained by my forehead, seems to be on the right side. It is worse midday. It seems to not be bad when I wake up up, then a few hours later I feel it coming on. I assume 2 oclock it feels the worst. In the evening it starts going away and at night i feel 80% better. But sure satisfactory, the next day, same thing. I am on daylight 5 now and it is the worst. I have used sudafed(psuedoephedrine) and that makes it perceive worse, I have eaten spicy foods and nothing. Inhaled steam, nil. Used an irrigation system, nothing. I have got no nouns. Does this sound standard sinusitis? and will it pass with time, similar to the normal 10 day process? Or should I see a doctor? For about 4-5 hours midday I am miserable, almost unspeakable. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Answers:    It doesn't sound much like sinusitis to me. You really don't mention anything that sounds like the typical symptoms:
Drainage of a sticky, yellow or greenish discharge from the nose or down the back of the throat
■ Nasal hindrance or congestion, causing difficulty breathing through your nose
■ Pain, tenderness, swelling and pressure around your eyes, cheeks, snout or forehead
■ Aching in your upper jaw and teeth
Cough, which may be worse at darkness
■ Ear pain
■ Sore throat
■ Bad breath (halitosis)
Irritability
■ Fever
■Nausea

Off hand, it sounds more like a migraine headache. In any case, it does seem to be bothering you enough to be worth a doctor drop by. Source(s): http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/acute-s…
