Lightheadedness when drinking/ smoking?

for some reason when i drink heavy liquior, not beer, i get oil lamp headed as soon as it touches my tounge, same when i smoke. im only 18 and ive never smoked or drank heavy stuff beforehand, is this normal. by heavy i mean 170 proof vodka
