What does this sound like? (I've been to the doctor.....)?

-Dark urine
-Itching on lower back

and when i went to the doctor, they did a urine test and they found protein within my urine, but they said nothing was wrong with my kidneys because within was no blood in my urine. Could they have be wrong? What else could this be? What should I do now if the doctor said nothing was wrong?
Answers: YOU know your body, and if you focus there is something wrong, chances are there is! Protein within your urine is not normal. I would seek another opinion, and don't a short time ago smile and nod. You need to be proactive and take a stand, if you don't fight for you...who will?
I'm have the same thing,I don't have swelling of the frontage, i have swelling around my eyes, and i don't have pain contained by my glands, i have kidney pains too, when i went to the hospital (as i was contained by too much pain), they told me that I had white blood cells and protein with rather bit of blood in my urine, they gave me anti-biotics (trimethoprim, to be exact) and unfortunately, it hasnt' help me, i'm going back to see my GP tonight but as soon as i find out, my urine specimen results should've been back by very soon, but dont worry, i'll let you know when i get vertebrae. But in the meantime, just make sure you're drinking lots of dampen and buy and drink some cranberry juice - if you get a burning sensation when you pass hose, go to your local pharmacist and ask for either Potassium Citrate mixture or Cymalon/Oasis Cranberry flavoured Sachets - that will help u temporarily.
